What is BAPLA?

BAPLA or The British Association of Picture Libraries and Agencies, is the trade association for picture libraries in the UK and the largest organisation of its kind in the world.
BAPLA also works closely with its sister organisations - PACA in the USA and CEPIC across Europe.

What is Royalty free?

You pay a one-off fee, you do not have to pay royalties to contributors on a use-by-use basis.
The image isn't exclusive to you, so you will not know who else is using the image.

Are there any usage restrictions?

Springboard Images grants to you a non-exclusive and non-assignable right to reproduce the Image(s) on a worldwide and perpetual basis solely as part of the following (or as otherwise agreed in writing by Springboard Images):

— advertising and promotional materials (including packaging);
— online or other electronic distribution systems (including web page design, but subject to clause 3.8 “See terms and conditions”) up to a maximum resolution of 72 dpi;
— broadcasts or theatrical exhibition;
— any products (including for-sale products) or publications (electronic or print), subject to clause 3.8; and/or
— materials for personal, non-commercial use and test or sample use, including comps and layouts.

Are all the images model/property released?

All our images are fully released, unless otherwise stated.

How do you receive the images?

On payment clearance, you are sent a conformation e-mail that your order has been completed. Log in to My Account Log In, this page shows your order history and allows you to download any instant download orders that have been completed. See the Action box and click on the download link.

How to print your invoices

Log in to My Account Log In, this page shows your order history and allows you to print out any invoices and also download any instant download orders that have been paid for and completed.

How were the images created?

The images predominately originate from RAW 47.5MB Canon 1DS mkII files.
They are then processed, cleaned and coverted for sale as high quality Jpgs.

Are the images ready to use?

The images are clean and are ready to go!

Sending preview images for others to view

Our website includes a facility for emailing 'lightboxes' of selected images to colleagues.
Just click on the 'Send Lightbox' or "Send to Friend" blue button in the middle of the page, fill in the form, and click send.

Cancellation policy

Provided you have not used the Image(s) you may cancel the Licence within 30 days from the date of the Invoice by sending Springboard Images an email with notification of the cancellation to the following address: sales@springboardimages.com

• You may cancel the Licence within ten (10) days from the date of the Invoice without charge.
• If you cancel less than thirty (30) days after the Invoice date, a cancellation fee of fifty (50%) percent of the Invoice will be charged.
• After thirty (30) days, no cancellations will be accepted and the full amount of the invoice must be paid.

Cancelling the Licence revokes an right to publish, reproduce or use the Image(s) in any manner whatsoever.

Are all your library pictures online?

Images are being added to the collection all the time, some of the images may have similar's or variations. Please be aware that special requests will cost more and take extra time to fulfil.
